The Alamo Home

This two-phased project was a Harold Smith Custom job, and the client petitioned several construction companies in San Francisco for a significant home expansion. The original size of the home was 3,150 square feet, and the client required an expansion to just over 5,000 square feet. Additionally, the client wanted to remain in residence while the construction project was underway. DCI Inc. performed the job perfectly, bringing the project to completion to the absolute satisfaction of the client within the allotted $1.3 budget, and the client was able to remain in residence during both phases of construction.

The Orinda Home

This deconstruction project was awarded to DCI Inc. after the client sent out proposal requests to several local San Francisco construction companies. The primary project goal was to deconstruct an existing 3,500 square foot residential structure down to the skeletal studs, and then rebuild the home with a primary emphasis on modern architectural design. Additionally, this project required asbestos removal – a notoriously tricky task with wide potential for environmental repercussions. DCI completed the job within the allotted $700,000 budget, removed all asbestos safely, thoroughly, and appropriately, and reconstructed the residence beyond the expectations of the client. The entire project was complete in less than six months, and the client enjoyed a deconstruction tax donation of nearly $75,000.

The Menlo Park Home

For this project, the client sought bids from several San Francisco construction companies in search of an agency able to build several home upgrades simultaneously. The client required the installation of an entirely new guest bathroom, the installation of a fireplace and TV millwork in the main family room, a new climate-controlled wine room able to store over 300 individual bottles of wine, the fitting of a host of new cabinetry in the living room, and a new bar in the dining room. The client also needed a complete renovation of an existing guest bathroom, including the installation of a new shower and closet area. Additionally, the client required a significant change to the overall interior of the home, upgrading existing hard surfaces and creating a more modern look and feel. DCI Inc. managed all aspects of the entire project simultaneously, and came in under budget and on time, fully satisfying the client in all respects.
